It is a legal requirement that all food business operators ensure all food handlers receive training commensurate to their work activities. 

Most businesses as a matter of good practice and to support thier due dilligence by ensuring thier staff are adequately trained.  We can deliver a range of accredited qualifications both on and off site from Level 1 for those who only prepare food occasionally to Level 4 advanced qualifications for managers of food businesses

Level 1 Food Safety

The Level 1 Award in Food Safety qualification is designed for those who have an element of food handling within their job role eg, Kitchen porter, Care assistants, Hygiene Operatives, Retail Assistants

Level 2 Food Safety

The Level 2 Award in Food Safety is a qualification that covers the basics of safe food handling.  It is suitable for all food handler in catering, manufacturing and retail environments.

Level 3 Food Safety

The Level 3 Food Safety qualification is suitable for any one with supervisory responsibilities in a food environment and gives them the knowledge to help contribute to food safety. Typical job roles this qualification may be suitable for include, Catering Supervisors, Chefs, Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, Line Managers & Retail Managers. May also be suitable for owners/managers of small businesses.

This Award replaces the Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate

Level 4 Food Safety

The Level 4 Food Safety qualification is aimed at those with management responsibility within a food environment and need to be equipped with knowledge to confidently communicate safe standards to employees. It covers all of the necessary aspects of food hygiene and safety in depth, providing candidates with a thorough knowledge of food safety requirements.

This award replaces the Advanced Food Hygiene certificate
