Level 2 HACCP in Catering

Who is the course for ?

The Level 2 Award in HACCP for Catering is suitable for all food handlers who may be involved in using a food safety management system,   Learners may be already be working in a food environment or looking to work in the food industry.  Candidates should hold the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

What will I learn ?

Learners gaining this qualification will know importance  for food safety management systems, the need to idenfiy hazards and put in place effective controls, also the importance of taking corrective actions

Topics include Prerequisite programmes, Food Safety hazards and controls, corrective actions, documentation and review

How will I be assessed ?

The course is assessed by a 1 Hour, 30 question multi choice question paper.

The externally marked and certificated by the following Awarding Organisations

Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC)

How long will the course last ?

The course is delivered over 6 hours plus examination time (1 day)

The course is delivered directly on employers premises at times to suit the business, Small groups are welcome
